Jim O'Connell has lived in the Cincinnati area nearly all of his life. He built a 40-year career as a business consultant and commercial real estate investment broker, closing hundreds of transactions totalling over $12 billion. He and his teams have negotiated and completed all levels of sales transactions, from local, private market "Main Street" assets to complex, institutional-quality holdings with nine-figure values.
After leaving the corporate brokerage business, Jim continued to offer consulting services. In 2024, Jim read a profile of JT Harp in the Cincinnati Business Courier. He contacted JT to discuss the commercial real estate side of these transactions. Jim knew that determining the value of real estate is both art and science and offered his consulting services. Confidentiality is one of Transworld’s core values, and Jim realized that to protect it for both buyers and sellers, he needed to join the Transworld team.
